Review Conference: Stocktaking related visit
As part of the preparations for the Review Conference of the Rome Statute, which includes the topic “Stocktaking of international criminal justice”, a second group of delegates made a visit to Uganda.
Ms. Miia Aro-Sánchez and Ms. Elena Bornand, representing Finland and Chile, respectively, focal points for the subtopic of the impact of the Rome Statute system on victims and affected communities, and Mr. Zenon Mukongo, delegate of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, one of the focal points for the subtopic of peace and justice, were accompanied by Ms. Elisabeth Rehn, member of the Board of Directors of the Trust Fund for Victims, and Mr. Renan Villacis, Director of the Secretariat of the Assembly of States Parties.
The visit, organized by the NGO No Peace without Justice and their Ugandan partners, Hurinet-U and UCICC, with the sponsorship of Denmark, took place from 10 to 16 February. In Kampala the delegation met with members of parliament representing the Greater North Parliamentary Forum and the Legal and Parliamentary Affairs Committee, as well as with NGOs working on victims’ issues and with ICC field office staff. In northern Uganda, where the crimes which the Government of Uganda referred to the ICC for investigation were committed, the delegation also visited the cities of Gulu and Lira, as well as the Barlonyo internally displaced persons camp, where they had meetings with victims and regional leaders.
Furthermore, Ms. Rehn visited some of the projects in Lira undertaken by the Trust Fund for Victims such as the Friedis Rehabilitation Center and the Northeast Chili Pepper Association; she also delivered a lecture at Makarere University.
The focal points are preparing reports on their respective subtopics for consideration at the resumed eighth session of the Assembly at the end of March. A first group of delegates had made a visit in January. An additional four visits are planned through May.

مؤتمر المراجعة: زيارة ذات صلة بتقييم العدالةا

كجزء من الاستعدادات لمؤتمر المراجعة لنظام روما الأساسي ، والذي يتضمن موضوع "تقييم للعدالة الجنائية الدولية" لقد قامت مجموعة ثانية من المندوبين بزيارة لأوغندا. 
المجموعة تتكون من السيدة ميا آرو- سانشيز و السيدة الينا بورناند ، ممثلتا فنلندا و تشيلي و اللتان تعملان كنقطة اتصال للموضوع الفرعي " تأثير نظام روما الاساسي على المجتمعات المحلية المتأثرة بالجرائم"، بالاضافة الى السيد زينون موكونغو مندوب جمهورية كونغو الديمقراطية و هو يمثل أحد النقاط المحورية للموضوع الفرعي " السلام و العدالة" بصحبة السيدة اليزابيث رين عضوة مجلس ادارة الصندوق الصندوق الإئتماني و السيد رينان فيلاسيس مدير الامانة العامة لجمعية الدول الأطراف.
قام بتنظيم هذه الزيارة ، المنظمة غير الحكومية لا سلام بدون عدالة وشركائها من أوغندا، هيورينيت- يو، ويو سي آي سي سي ، مع رعاية الدنمارك ، جرت الزيارة من 10 إلى 16 فبراير. في كمبالا التقى الوفد مع أعضاء في البرلمان يمثلون المنتدى البرلماني في الشمال الكبير، و لجنة الشؤون القانونية والبرلمانية ، وكذلك مع المنظمات غير الحكومية العاملة بشؤون الضحايا ، كما التقوا مع موظفي المكاتب الميدانية للمحكمة الجنائية الدولية .و تم زيارة شمال أوغندا ، حيث ارتكبت الجرائم التي احالتها الحكومة الأوغندية إلى المحكمة الجنائية الدولية للتحقيق بها، وكذلك زار الوفد مدينتي غولو ، ليرا ، فضلا عن بارلونيو مخيم للمشردين داخليا ، حيث عقدوا اجتماعات مع الضحايا والقادة الاقليميين. 
وعلاوة على ذلك ، زارت السيدة رين بعض المشاريع في ليرا التي يضطلع بها الصندوق الاستئماني للضحايا مثل مركز التأهيل فريديز ورابطة نورث ايست شيلي بيبر ؛ كما القت محاضرة في جامعة ماكاريري. 
نقاط الاتصال يعدون تقارير عن المواضيع الفرعية المعنية للنظر فيها في الدورة الثامنة المستأنفة للجمعية في نهاية مارس. قامت المجموعة الأولى من المندوبين بزيارة أوغندا فى يناير الماضى. وهناك أربع زيارات إضافية يخطط لها من خلال شهر مايو.

Conferencia de Revisión: visita relativa al ejercicio de reflexión

Un grupo de delegados efectuó una visita a Uganda, como parte de los preparativos para la Conferencia de Revisión del Estatuto de Roma, que incluye el tema de “Balance de la justicia penal internacional”.
La Sras. Miia Aro-Sánchez y Elena Bornand, en representación de Finlandia y Chile, respectivamente, puntos focales para el subtema sobre el impacto del sistema del Estatuto de Roma sobre las víctimas y las comunidades afectadas, y el Sr. Zenon Mukongo, delegado de la República Democrática del Congo, uno de los puntos focales para el subtema de paz y justicia, estuvieron acompañados por la Sra. Elisabeth Rehn, miembro del Consejo de Dirección del Fondo Fiduciario para Víctimas, y el Sr. Renán Villacís, Director de la Secretaría de la Asamblea de los Estados Partes.
La visita, organizada por la ONG “No Peace without Justice” y sus socios ugandeses, Hurinet-U y la UCICC, con el patrocinio de Dinamarca, tuvo lugar del 10 al 16 de febrero. En Kampala la delegación se reunió con miembros del parlamento que representan el Gran Foro Parlamentario del Norte y la Comisión de Asuntos Jurídicos y Parlamentarios, así como con ONGs que trabajan en temas relativos a las víctimas y con el personal de la oficina de campo de la Corte. En el norte de Uganda, lugar en donde acontecieron los crímenes que el Gobierno de Uganda remitió a la Corte para investigación, la delegación también visitó las ciudades de Gulu y Lira, así como el campo para personas desplazadas Barlonyo, en donde sostuvieron reuniones con víctimas y líderes regionales.
Además, la Sra. Rehn visitó algunos de los proyectos en Lira que lleva adelante el Fondo Fiduciario para Víctimas, tales como el Centro de Rehabilitación Friedis y la Asociación del noreste de productores de chiles; también hizo una presentación en la Universidad Makarere.
Los puntos focales están preparando los informes respectivos sobre sus subtemas para la consideración de la Asamblea durante la continuación de su octavo período de sesiones, que tendrá lugar a fines de marzo. Un primer grupo de delegados hizo una visita en el mes de enero. Cuatro visitas adicionales están previstas hasta mayo.
