Mali ratifies the Agreement on Priveleges and Immunities of the International Criminal Court

On Thursday 8 July 2004, Mali ratified the Agreement on Privileges and Immunities of the International Criminal Court (APIC).
This brings the number of States Parties to have ratified the Agreement to 11. 62 States have signed the Agreement.
According to Article 34 and 35 of the Agreement, it was ”open for signature by all States from 10 September 2002 until 30 June 2004 at the United Nations Headquarters in New York” and “shall enter into force thirty days after the date of deposit with the Secretary-General of the tenth instrument of ratification, acceptance, approval or accession”. Canada was the tenth State to ratify the Agreement on 22 June 2004.
