Dr Sanoj Rajan is presently serving as Professor and Head at the School of Law, ITM University, India and an Affiliate Expert with the Harvard Humanitarian Initiative at Harvard University, USA. He is also acting as the pro bono coordinator and a visiting faculty for the International Criminal Justice program offered by the International Christian University at Kinshasa, DRC. Before that, he worked as the Associate Director for Humanitarian Policy and Conflict Research (HPCR) at the Harvard University where he led International Humanitarian Law and International Criminal Law research and policy initiatives. Prior to that, Dr Rajan was the head of the academic programs division of the International Committee of the Red Cross for the South Asian countries. He also has taught law courses at the University of Kerala, India. He has lectured extensively on International Law topics at various institutions in more than ten countries. He has widely published and presented papers in conferences and seminars at national and international level. A Commonwealth Scholar, Dr Rajan holds a PhD and an LLM in International Law, an LLM in Human Rights (Oxford) (expected), and an MBA in Personnel Management.
