Allison Danner is Associate Professor of Law at Vanderbilt University, Tennessee, USA. She has written amicus briefs on the law of war in litigation over the rights of enemy combatants, and has published a number of articles in leading U.S. journals. Her recent research interests lay in the areas of joint criminal enterprise, command responsibility and the legitimacy of prosecutorial discretion at the ICC.
She has been awarded the prestigious Déak Prize from the American Society of International Law for outstanding scholarship by a young author. She serves on the Executive Council of the American Society of International Law, the Board of Visitors of Stanford Law School, and the Executive Board of the American Association of the International Association of Penal Law.
Professor Danner holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Williams College, Massachusetts, USA (1993) and a Juris Doctor degree from Stanford Law School, California, USA (1997).
