Kenneth Gallant is Professor of Law at William H. Bowen School of Law, University of Arkansas (USA) where he teaches Lawyering Skills, Litigation Clinic, International Law, and International Criminal Law.
Before joining the University of Arkansas, Prof. Gallant directed the law clinic and taught law at the University of Idaho. His educational background includes degrees from Harvard University (AB, 1973) and University of Pennsylvania (JD, 1977).
Prof. Gallant has published extensively in the areas of public international law and international criminal law. Prior to his academic career, Prof. Gallant served first as a Prosecutor and later as Attorney-in-charge for Special Litigation with the Office of the District Attorney of Philadelphia.
He also served as a law clerk to the late Judge Samuel J. Roberts of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania and Judge Louis H. Pollak of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
Prof. Gallant has been a member of the ICC’s Advisory Committee on Legal Texts since 2005 and is closely involved in the development and work of the International Criminal Bar.
