Mr. Satya Tripathi: “The Interaction between the Human Rights Office of the Peacekeeping Mission in Bosnia (UNMIBH) and the ICTY”

Mr. Satya Tripathi is currently serving as the United Nations Recovery Coordinator (UNORC) for Aceh and Nias in Indonesia. His extensive resume includes holding the positions of UN Head of Region in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Head of Human Rights Investigations (UNMIBH), Deputy Chief/Acting Chief of the UNMIBH Human Rights Office, and more recently, as International Policy and Aid Coordinator Advisor (UNDP) in Liberia. Among his numerous honours and awards, Mr Tripathi received the NATO Medal for Former Yugoslavia in 1999 for promoting outstanding operational cooperation between UN Personnel and NATO forces (SFOR) in Bosnia. Mr Tripathi holds an Honours Bachelor and Masters of Commerce degree and a Masters degree in International Law.
