Pre-Trial Chamber I to hold Public Hearing on Procedural Matters

On Monday 24 April, 2006 from 14.00, the Pre-Trial Chamber I of the International Criminal Court will hold a public hearing on procedural matters in the case of the Prosecutor v. Thomas Lubanga Dyilo.  

The Chamber will examine in the presence of the Prosecutor and the Defence procedures to facilitate the exchange of information and evidence between the Office of the Prosecutor and the Defence prior to the confirmation hearing scheduled on 27 June 2006. The role of the Registry in these procedures will also be discussed.

Journalists accredited with the International Criminal Court and wishing to cover the hearing are requested to arrive at the Court no later than 13.45 p.m.
